Junior year is said to be one of the, if not the most important grade level before college. It's the year you study and./or take the SAT's, it's the year you finally take more challenging classes, it's the year where you seriously have to start looking for colleges and talking to college representatives and councilers. At HTHI, it is also the year of internship. A very rare and unique opprotunity for high schoolers to work in an office where they would be interested in working for in the future.
The classes we take in junior year are Humanities: American History, Biology, Math, Humanities: Literature, and Environmental Science. I had American History & Biology first semester, and the large project was The Election Project, and I've yet to have Literature and Environmental Science, but I will have a project for them as well.
I have taken honors American History and honors Biology, I also intend on taking honors Literature for my second semester.
