Youtube Project Before each episode we would write out what we were going to ask and talk about in our channel. Our channel was called Rinterview (Review/Interview) we'd answer our own questions as well as ask both teachers and students the same question. It was meant for everyone in the school to get to know each other better and also be entertaining. Above is the youtube videos.
Literary Rap Battles The Literary Rap Battle project started with us picking a partner and a book to read. My partner Jerry and I picked The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. After finishing the book and taking notes and a test at the end on the book we began writing lyrics to a rap with another pair of two selected for us by draw. The book we were partnered up with was Lord of the Flies by William Golding. We had to write a rap battle about the two books and the two authors going against each other. Then we'd make a video of students playing both the authors and characters from the book. Below is the costume guide, the 2 column script which we used to film, the notes for the books, the schedule, the lyrics to the rap, pictures of us working and the finished video.
