I'm thankful for my mentor Chris for bringing me back to the company and giving me another riveting assignment my second time around. Additionally I did notice a gain in responsibility including talking to her colleagues and receiving a company email and computer access over the duration of my internship. I'd also thank Bee & Liz for being great co-workers and always talking to me throughout the day or grabbing lunch with me, it's always a pleasure to continue to get to know everyone so much better and I really will miss being in an environment this welcoming. Being in a small but tight-knit workplace was meaningful to me because it was something I learned that I'd like to have when I start working in the future.. I'll write my thank you note to the whole office before my last day.
Each box is connected to the questions I listed out in the beginning of the video.
The experience at my internship like the first time I was here helped me to better understand the topics I am interested. This time around has been especially helpful since I'll be going to law school in only a few years and it's helpful to get people's advice who have already done it and can steer me in the right direction. The college I have selected to attend has been a topic of conversation here, including encouragement from the people who are familiar with the school and believe it to be a great fit for me. With the actual work and internship itself, it continues to solidify that I do want to go into law and that I'm excited to do so. I do need to find what field of law I'm interested in exactly but working in this field in a firm like this definitely wouldn't be the worst! I do enjoy what I'm working on and learning as the content is very investing and holds importance because things like the environment and clean water sources are such vital things to our communities and all communities around us.
I made my mind map specifically about my journey this far in working towards a career in law, and talked about my experience both before and during externship and how my time at my office both senior and junior year has impacted me and my decisions.
